Sasakura contributes to the better environment through technology.
Since our founding in 1949, we have worked to realize a sustainable society by developing and providing equipment that contributes to environmental conservation in the three fields of “water,” “heat,” and “sound.” Focusing on contributing to energy conservation and CO₂ emissions reduction, we have sincerely addressed societal challenges and responded with technological prowess and sincere manufacturing. As a result, we have established a high market share in each field.
Currently, in the final year of our 10th Mid-Term Management Plan, “Foundation for Resilience-30,” we are advancing initiatives to further strengthen our corporate foundation under three pillars: “Improving Business Efficiency,” “Expanding Business,” and “Enhancing Sustainability.”
Regarding efficiency improvement, we commenced full-scale operation of our new business system in June 2024. This initiative goes beyond mere system renewal; it represents a company-wide business transformation simultaneously aiming to redesign work practices and enhance productivity.
For business expansion, we are accelerating next-generation challenges, such as deploying evaporation concentration equipment to recover valuable materials from factory effluent and providing liquid hydrogen valves with an eye toward the future hydrogen society.
We are also focusing on creating a secure working environment for our members. This includes improving workplace conditions, such as the renovation of our main headquarters building, and supporting flexible work arrangements. We are advancing the development of a foundation that fosters corporate appeal and diversity.
For social contribution activities, we engage in community cleanup efforts and, through the Environmental Science Foundation we established, undertake initiatives like research grants and visiting lectures. We strive for coexistence with local communities and the cultivation of environmental awareness.
Guided by our corporate philosophy of “contributing to social progress through our business,” each employee embraces their role as a contributor. We will continue to take responsible actions toward society and the environment through our products and services. To remain a company trusted by society, we will sincerely commit to building a sustainable future.
