● When recovering valuable elements from wastewater
Simply concentrating wastewater results in poor purity of the recovered valuable elements because impurities in the wastewater are also concentrated. It is possible to recover valuable elements with high purity by crystallizing and extracting only the valuable elements.
※There is another method to increase the purity of valuable elements by crystallizing impurities and then removing them.
【Applicable examples】
• Recovery of boric acid
• Recovery of ammonium chloride
• Removal of sodium sulfate in ammonium sulfate
• Removal of NaCl in glycerin
● When converting the wastewater to Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD)
Directly drying saturated solutions of wastewater using a dryer consumes an enormous amount of energy, so an energy-saving crystallizer that uses an ejector or heat pump is recommended.
【Applicable examples】
• Leachate treatment
• Thermal power generation desulfurization wastewater treatment
