This high-efficiency plant applies the principle of flash evaporation and improves the water generation ratio (water generation volume/heated steam volume) by using many evaporation chambers. This world-class plant designed by Sasakura has been widely hailed for aiding countries with water shortages. The amount of water generated per day ranges from around 100 to 100,000 tonnes.
