Water and EnvironmentMarine Equipment Business
This equipment is installed on steam turbine engine vessels such as LNG ships, and heats seawater using the turbine's low-pressure steam as a heat source. It then cools and condenses the generated steam with seawater to efficiently generate high-purity fresh water to provide a stable supply for high-pressure steam boilers.
By applying a two-stage flash type structure, water is efficiently generated with a water generation ratio (water generation volume/heated steam volume) of approximately 1.5. The evaporator, heater, pump, piping, etc. are compactly unitized to stably supply high-purity fresh water for high-pressure steam boiler feedwater.
